Hello there!
At this stage, it is about 1 month until I leave Australia and go on my UK Gap Year (or Yah). I have been eagerly counting down the days, hours, minutes and even seconds until I depart on the 7th of January 2013.
A lot of organisation has been done to get me to this stage such as visas, passports, insurance, medical checks, police checks and all the rest of that official stuff. Pretty much an endless stream of paperwork and filling out forms with my personal details on it.
I feel incredibly lucky that I have been placed at the Royal Ballet School. I think I'm the only Lattitude Volunteer to be in central London? Been chatting to a lot of fellow volunteers on facebook and they all seem to be either just outside of London or in a place I've never even heard of. Eve though I am the only one in London, I think that I'll still get to see a lot of fellow volunteers because they all seem to want to visit London and all its attractions while on their gap years.
Anyway, I just thought I'd create this blog so that family and friends could keep up with what I'm up to while in the UK. Thought I'd get it started today so that I can remember this pure excitement before I leave.
